Q: What if I want a different sized digital file? Or a file in a different format?
A: Our bespoke effect customisation form gives you a good idea of popular banner sizes for use on the web. If you are using the file in a flash project, then we can tailor the effect to fit any size you specify. We will do our best to facilitate your needs. This is a good guideline for our file output sizes.

Recommended file formats:
For DVD use: 720x576 Hi Quality avi file or mpeg
For Web use: 800x600 flv or quicktime file with alpha channel intact.

Q: How long will it take for my effect(s) to be delivered?
A: Bespoke effects ordered via our online store will be available for download within 24 hours. Effects that need changing to fit your needs will take 2 business days to process upon 50% of the agreed fee.

Q: Does each effect have transparency (alpha channels)?
A: Where possible, we will provide you with a quicktime movie, and flv file with the alpha channel intact. We will do this only if requested, as file sizes are slightly larger in doing this. Good examples of this are fire, smoke effects that could be placed on any background.

Q: What are the file sizes for each effect?
A: FLV files are around 300-900k each dependant on the effect, mov files will range between 5-10mb and avi files can be between 20-500mb depending on compression. Usually if you are using an effect for a cd/dvd presentation then filesize should not be a problem. We normally give you the option of the flv file as well as a quicktime version in case you want to re-compress the file and convert to an flv yourself.

Q: What if I see an effect I like in your online store, but would like it modified slightly?
A: Send us an email, and we will get back to you with a quote for amending the file. Prices for bespoke effects in the online store are mainly £25 each, but if you would like one of these files slightly modifying, then the price is likely to be around £50-£75 due to development and rendering time. Production will start on completion of 50% of final payment upfront.

Q: I would like you to produce an effect from scratch.
A: Send us an email and we will provide you with a quote for the project. Production will start on completion of 50% of final payment. Please allow 7 days for delivery of project.

Q: What if I want to order files via post?
A: Send us an email with your order details and address. We will then post your files on a cd or DVD to you. Extra cost for this would be £2.50 for every dvd / cd posted. We will send you a Pay Pal invoice for postage.
